Jobs, estimates and customers move both ways, and a finished job starts the next thing on its own.
The technician taps complete at 3.15 in a driveway and drives off. On Thursday somebody in the office scrolls back through the week, and by then asking that customer for a review is asking a stranger a favour.
Everything else in this library happens to somebody sitting down. This one happens in a driveway. The technician wipes his hands, taps the job complete on his phone and gets back in the van, and for about the next twenty minutes the customer is standing there pleased, looking at the thing that now works. That is the best moment you will ever get to ask them for a review, and the office finds out about it on Thursday. Connect Housecall Pro and the finished job is a starting gun: the review request, the follow-up, the reminder that the same customer is due a service in eleven months. It runs the other way too. A booking taken on the phone here becomes the job in Housecall Pro with the customer and the address already on it, so the scheduler is not retyping a house number off a message. The gap between the tap in the driveway and the text is about ten minutes. The van has not reached the end of the street.
Reach for this where the work happens at somebody's house. Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pest, appliance repair. The office runs on Housecall Pro and everything that ought to happen after a job depends on someone in the office noticing it finished.
Need more than it doesTell us what the connection has to do and we will wire the rest of it.
The finished job sends the request in minutes, not days. The customer is still standing next to the thing you fixed.
A call answered here can create the job, the customer and the address in Housecall Pro. The scheduler stops copying house numbers.
The day a job closes, the reminder for the one after it is queued. Repeat work stops depending on a customer remembering you.
You will reach for it either with the rest of your connections in settings, or inside an automation under the apps tab. Connecting it uses a key you fetch from your Housecall Pro account rather than a sign-in, so have someone with full access on a paid plan on hand.

Jobs, estimates, customers and leads, in both directions. Nine moments in Housecall Pro can start something here, from a customer being created to a job being finished or cancelled. And from this side, customers, addresses, jobs, appointments and estimates can be created and updated. That is the scope.
Within about ten minutes. Finished jobs are checked on a short cycle rather than the instant it happens. Ten minutes is the right distance anyway. Immediate reads as automated, and tomorrow reads as an afterthought.
The job and the customer together. The description, the job and invoice numbers, and the person's name, email and phone numbers on the same record. So whatever happens next already knows who it is talking to and what was done at their house.
Yes, and it is worth an hour of somebody's time before you start. Phone numbers have to be ten straight digits. Anything with brackets, dashes or spaces is turned away quietly, so a tidy-looking list can fail without saying so. Clean them once and it stops being an issue.
It is built in. That advice has been doing the rounds for a while, usually from people selling the workaround. You connect the two directly with a key your Housecall Pro account issues, and one key can cover more than one account.
Your pipeline, your data. Not a slide deck.
